Men may have cast the tea into Boston Harbor, but women made liberty a daily tradition.
In the wake of the Boston Tea Party, colonial women took a stand in their own homes—refusing to serve imported British tea. Instead, they turned to what they could grow in their own orchards and gardens. These homegrown brews became known as “Liberty Teas,” made from herbs, flowers, and local plants cultivated in “Liberty Gardens.” With creativity and patriotism in every cup, even their teapots were reborn as “Liberty Pots.”
So as we celebrate the America 250th Anniversary today, we celebrate their spirit—raising our cups not just for tea, but for independence, liberty, and a touch of revolutionary charm.
